Umm Omar Jassim (Also known as Umm Shaymaa) passed away unexpectedly in Dearborn Heights on Dec 18th, 2019.
Her life and legacy and activism and charity work is beyond human capacity,
In this Khutba (recorded one day after her funeral) I try to capture three takeaways to answer a question that some of the youth in our community asked “How can I be like her? How can I leave a huge legacy?”
